Keeping You in Tune with the 30A Real Estate Market
Royce Smith's path to real estate wound through executive music industry roles in Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, and Burbank, California, before he moved to the white-sand beaches of 30A. A graduate of University of West Georgia, Royce began a sales career working for a local Seagrams distributor, and then a friend introduced him to a lifelong career in music. He then moved to Dallas to chase his dream. After years as a regional director for ABC Records, Royce found himself on the road again, this time to Los Angeles, where he worked as the national singles director for Warner Brothers. He eventually became vice president of promotions for PolyGram/Mercury, working out of the Disney building in Burbank. Royce rubbed shoulders with the likes of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, The Eagles, Queen, and Michael and Janet Jackson, amassing 56 gold and platinum records during his tenure. Those days brought trips to the Grammys and travel to just about every major city in the U.S. In 2003, Royce moved to the Emerald Coast. After a few investment projects of his own, he decided to pair his love of people and boundless energy with a new career in real estate. He spent the next 20 years pairing clients with luxury real estate on Florida's Gulf Coast, specializing in Rosemary Beach and its surrounding communities. His focus on building relationships has earned him both friends and repeat clients over the years. Royce holds a broker's license in both Alabama and Florida.
His wife, Jennifer, joined him in his real estate endeavors in 2022 after many years working as the Event Director of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County helping produce many regional events including the 30A Songwriters Festival. His daughter, mother to his two grandchildren, is a top real estate agent in Nashville. In his free time, he enjoys water activities, bicycling and cruising around in his 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser.
