For Patty Sherrod, real estate is about more than buying and selling homes—it’s about helping people find the places where life happens and memories are made.

A New Orleans native and graduate of Tulane University, Patty has been connected to Florida’s Gulf Coast for nearly four decades. Since first discovering 30A in 1987, she has spent countless vacations exploring the Emerald Coast, from Pensacola and Destin to the charming beach communities that line Scenic Highway 30A. She still fondly remembers dining at a newly opened Bud & Alley’s and falling in love with the area’s natural beauty, laid-back lifestyle, and sense of community.

After vacationing along the Gulf Coast for years and owning property on 30A for more than a decade, Patty made the move to become a full-time resident in 2021. Today, she combines the perspective of a longtime homeowner with the expertise of a seasoned real estate professional to help clients navigate one of the country’s most desirable coastal markets.

Patty’s deep roots throughout the Southeast have become one of her greatest strengths. She raised her family in Gainesville, Georgia, where she maintains a large network of lifelong friends, former neighbors, and business associates. She also spent five years living in Mississippi and continues to enjoy strong personal and professional relationships throughout the state. Along with her Louisiana roots, these longstanding connections have naturally led many families from Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi to seek Patty’s guidance when considering a move to the Emerald Coast.

Since beginning her real estate career in 2006, Patty has successfully represented buyers and sellers in a wide variety of transactions, from luxury condominiums in Atlanta to premier coastal properties throughout Northwest Florida. Over the past five years alone, she has participated in nearly $35 million in real estate sales, helping clients achieve their goals in some of the Southeast’s most sought-after communities.

Prior to relocating to 30A, Patty built a successful real estate career in Atlanta and earned the distinction of representing the buyer in one of Midtown Atlanta’s highest condominium sales. Her reputation for professionalism, strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and exceptional client service continues to be the foundation of her business today.

As a member of the Rosemary Beach Realty team, Patty specializes in helping buyers and sellers throughout 30A and the Emerald Coast, including Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, WaterColor, WaterSound, Seaside, Inlet Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and surrounding communities.
